This week, the biggest surprise I had during my reading was the marketing research ideas. I always thought that marketing research was where every entrepreneur started out after he or she planned out a product or service.
I was confused about "being fiercely competitive" being on the list of characteristics that an entrepreneur should have. In my opinion, being fiercely competitive would be a bad thing. I think it's good to be competitive to a certain point, but "fiercely competitive" seems to have a negative connotation.
If given the opportunity, I would ask the author why he thinks that many entrepreneurs find marketing research useless. I feel as though that is something that is very important. I don't think they find it useless, I just think that it's something that is easily overlooked.
Being a student in an entrepreneurship class, I obviously don't have much knowledge in the subject. With that being said, I didn't see anything wrong with the reading.
